The primary purpose of the charge nurse job position is to provide direct nursing care to hospital patients, ER admissions and residents. The charge nurse also supervises day-to-day nursing activities performed by the treatment nurse and certified nurse assistants. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. This position will perform the routine business office and clerical duties necessary to ensure the efficient operation of the Rehabilitation Department.  Will assist with the admission and discharge of patients, classify medical records of patients, perform a variety of typing, clerical and phone duties in connection with patients’ insurance and may receive and record payments made by patients as well as compiling statistics. Will need to utilize various software applications and computer systems, manage the phone, as well as maintain and oversee department inventory. Will also maintain the general order and cleanliness of the department.

Looking for an enthusiastic and innovative part- time or full-time physical therapist to join a growing rehabilitation department based in a rural Critical Access Hospital and Outpatient Clinic.   Duties include: providing, planning and organizing PT services to the community and surrounding areas including CAH, outpatients, school (optional), supervising PTA and RCA and working in a multidisciplinary team environment including PT/OT/ST, providers and nursing staff.
