Responsibilities:
· Serve as the State recognized Nurse Aide Training Program (NATP) Coordinator and primary Clinical Instructor for DMHC’s Certified Nurse Aide Training Program
· Coordinate C.N.A classes, teach Nurse Aide Clinical sessions, & issue state certification exam per Headmaster guidelines
· Maintain record of employee education for all clinical staff members, including competencies
· Coordinate certification course schedule for required personnel
· Maintain up-to-date records of all employee certifications
· Provide hands-on skills training for Emergency Room personnel
· Provide training for new equipment and supplies as needed
· Maintain policies and procedures relevant to the Staff Development Program
· Work alongside healthcare providers and department managers to develop and identify learning programs beneficial to staff development
· Provide/ coordinate required Trauma Designation education hours & maintain records of completion for state review
· Assist the Director of Nursing in developing an annual program budget
Requirements:
· RN Required. Experience in healthcare education preferred.
· Assistance in obtaining required state recognition for C.N.A program will be provided
· Opportunity to obtain ACLS & PALS instructor certifications, though not required
Will also work open shifts.
This can turn into full time.
Daniels Memorial Healthcare Center is located in the extreme Northeast corner of Montana in the community of Scobey. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit 25 Bed Critical Access Hospital with a Rural Health Care Clinic and 24 hour Emergency Room Care. We offer Home Health, Community Health & Hospice services. DMHC also houses outpatient therapy services in the Bjerke Wellness Center including physical therapy, speech & occupational therapies. The Wellness Center boasts of having one of the only therapy pools in Eastern Montana. DMHC has full time laboratory and radiology services, including 1 hour turnaround, 24 hours a day on X-Ray through our CR Reader. Pharmacy and dietician services are available via contracted personnel. Audiology and OB-GYN services are offered monthly through visiting specialists. Rural Practice at its best!

Fort Peck Lake, just 90 minutes to the southwest, boasts 1520 miles of shore-line and offers four season fishing and recreational opportunities. Also close by are the famed Montana Dinosaur trail which yields world-class fossil discoveries, and the Northeast Montana Birding Trail'a must see for wildlife enthusiasts!
