Job Summary: Perform routine ER, OR, and portable radiological procedures for which competency has been demonstrated. Work from work queue, physician's orders, and direction from supervising Radiologic Technologist. Prepare and position patients. Operate Radiology equipment and perform other similar or related duties as assigned or required by supervising Radiologic Technologist. All images must be checked off by a registered technologist prior to submitting to radiologists.
Qualifications: Successful completion of one year of a JRC-accredited Radiologic Technology Program. No prior work experience required. Thorough knowledge of radiology imaging procedures. Considerable skill in performing various radiology procedures. Registry must be completed and passed within 90 days from degree conferral.
