Job Summary: Performs diversified inventory management duties in connection with supplies stocked in both perpetual and nonperpetual inventories located in Sterile Supply, MainOR, Outpatient Surgery, and CaroMont Specialty Surgery. Support is also provided to the Emergency Department, Cath Lab, Imaging and Special Procedures departments. Performs inventory management in accordance with established materials management and accounting standards and requirements. Conducts periodic inventory reconciliation. Performs other duties as assigned and commensurate with training and experience.
Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred. Two years experience in Sterile Processing, Inventory Control, Supply Chain, Surgical Technician or other medical experience preferred. Computer skills using a materials management information system and other standard software products, to include MS Word and Excel. Good communication skills, ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Some bending, lifting, pushing and pulling required. Ability to work in a team environment.
