Job Summary: Performs CT and other related procedures to demonstrate cross-sectioned anatomy, exercising professional judgment in performance of service. May also perform duties of diagnostic radiologic technologist as required.
Qualifications: Graduate of accredited radiography program. Registered by the ARRT with Modality Advanced Registry Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists completed within 12 months of hire date. Completion of the ARRT-- CQR as required. Should be experienced with competency in special imaging technique, IV competencies, and cross sectional anatomy. CT experience preferred. Ability to accept new responsibilities as new equipment/examinations is introduced into the department. Current BLS certification. Good customer service skills and ability to communicate with physicians and providers. Ongoing participation in continuing education.
