IT Generalist/Systems & Network Support Specialist- FT

SHIFT:  Monday – Friday - Full Time

PAY: $24 - $42 BOE - Medical, Vision & Dental Insurance,

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate is a flexible problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute across all areas of IT - from cabling and desktop support to networking, server administration, and cybersecurity. This position plays a critical role in supporting the technology infrastructure that powers our rural hospital's clinical, administrative, and operational systems. On-site role with standard weekday hours: occasional after-hours support for critical incidents or maintenance windows. Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation. The on-call schedule is shared among coworkers, each covering one week at a time.

·    2+ years of IT experience in a support or system administration role.

·    Experience with healthcare IT systems (e.g., Epic, Meditech, PACS) is a plus.

·    Familiarity with Linux systems or scripting is preferred.

·    Basic understanding of IP networking, firewalls, VLANS, and VPN.

·    Experience with security tools such as Mimecast, KNowBe4, Huntress, or similar is a plus.

·    Eagerness to learn - more important than specific technologies.

·    Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

·    Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

·    Adaptability and resourcefulness in a lean IT environment.

·    Integrity and professionalism when working with sensitive systems and ePHI.

·    Physical ability to lift and move IT equipment, run cabling, and work in wiring closets.
