Job Summary:   To perform a variety of technical, clerical, and related duties in connection with the activities of the hospital pharmacy; utilizes automation to credit or charge medications to patient accounts;   fill requisitions and deliver drugs to nursing units; assist in checking, ordering, and storing floor stock items; and dispense medications under direct supervision of a pharmacist. Qualifications:   Completion of 12th grade (high school or equiv);    Six months prior pharmacy work experience preferred;   Some ability   to perform accurate calculations and reports.   Some typing skills; Annual Registration with the NC State Board of Pharmacy is required. .   A new Pharmacy Technician hired but not already registered with the NC Board has 30 days from hire date to comply.
