The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks an MD or equivalent Physician with subspecialty training in pediatric infectious diseases to join our Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. The successful candidate will be expected to be board-certified or board-eligible with a commitment to the clinical care of children with infectious diseases. Rank, tenure status and compensation (including a generous fringe benefits package) are dependent upon qualifications. Charlottesville is a small city, but the range of infectious diseases that the Pediatric Infectious Service sees is very broad. University faculty, families, and community members travel the world, and Charlottesville has welcomed new Virginians from a very large number of countries.
