PRN Peri-Anesthesia RN Position Summary Franklin General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled PRN Peri-Anesthesia RN to join our surgical services team. This position is responsible for providing safe, high-quality nursing care to patients during the pre-anesthesia and post-anesthesia phases of care. The Peri-Anesthesia RN will work on an as-needed basis to support scheduled procedures. No weekends, Holidays or call shifts. Key Responsibilities Assess and prepare patients for anesthesia and surgery, including reviewing medical history and completing pre-op checklists. Monitor patients during recovery in the PACU, ensuring airway safety, pain control, and hemodynamic stability. Administer medications and manage IV therapy as directed by operating provider and/or anesthesia providers. Provide patient and family education regarding post-operative expectations.
