Job Details Description JOB SUMMARY: A skilled member of the health care team, the Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner) serves the PRHC Clinics through evaluation and treatment of patients in collaboration with the physician regarding the provision of direct medical care.   Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, performing physical exams, providing initial emergency care, ordering lab tests and x-rays, prescribing medications, providing patient education and counseling, forming diagnoses and administering treatment in accordance with clinic protocols and established standards are care.   The Advanced Practice Provider is active in the development and maintenance of clinic operations in coordination with the CAC, Clinic Services Director and/or Chief of Clinic Services; participates in performance improvement activities and Lean Healthcare initiatives.
