JOB SUMMARY:  Under the direction of the Lead Person, performs cleaning and related duties to patient rooms, offices, and other building areas necessary to provide a clean, sanitary, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing environment for facility customer groups. Because the EVS Assistant will have some direct contact with patients, he/she must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of patients throughout the life-span (particularly psychosocial and emotional) and interact with patients and others accordingly. REQUIREMENTS Previous acute care hospital cleaning experience preferred.  High School graduate or equivalent.
