RN-EMERGENCY DEPT.   JOB SUMMARY:   The Emergency Department Staff Nurse coordinates/provides nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.   The Emergency Department performs emergency medical service to individuals from all age groups as needed.   Therefore, the ER Staff Nurse must be competent to provide care to patients in the following age groups: infant, toddler, and school-age, teenage, adult, senior, and geriatric.   The RN must be able to access developmental needs across the life span and be able to adjust care accordingly to meet physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.   REQUIREMENTS Must have a current California RN License required.   Graduate from a school of nursing with either ADN or BSN...
