Job Details Description SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY DAY SHIFT HOURS  JOB SUMMARY Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy for modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician.  Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.  Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.  Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff.  Participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains department performance versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines.  Ensures that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis.

Job Details Description JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for administration and direct application of Speech/Language Pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician.  Evaluates, plans, directs and treats all patients referred for Speech/Language to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury.  Assists patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society while learning to live a routine “normal” life within the constraints of their disability.  Participates in performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.  Assures personal competency.  Provides information related to departmental budget considerations in relationship to Speech Pathology needs for optimum patient care and service.  Assists in scheduling of patient visits for speech pathology evaluation and treatment.
