Summary Assist in the delivery of acute health care and patient care management within a fast-paced, family practice environment. This Medical Assistant will provide support to both Virginia practice locations. One located in Woodlawn, the other in Independence.    Education and Formal Training:  High school diploma or equivalent and two (2) years of experience in a clinical environment, or graduation from an Associate Degree program for Medical Assistants. Work Experience:   At least one year of physician office experience to include experience with electronic health records is preferred.  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:  Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance and even temperament when dealing with ill people; uses tact, sensitivity, sound judgment, and a professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co-workers at all times.
