Job Summary :   Assist CVTs and Cath Lab RNs in their performance of cardiac cath procedures, permanent pacemaker and defibrillator implantation.   Work under direct supervision of CVT or RN.   Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures.   Stock procedure rooms.   Transport patients to and from cardiac cath labs. Qualifications :   High School diploma or equivalent required.  Current enrollment in an approved CVT program.   Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be highly organized.   Needs to have (or be in process of obtaining) BLS certification. Job Summary:    To perform diversified duties in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Hybrid OR, assisting the cardiologist intra-procedurally including preparation and positioning of patients, operation of x-ray equipment in radiological and fluoroscopic procedures, scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording hemodynamic parameters according to policy. Must successfully complete corporate and department specific skill validations and maintain core competencies.   Core Competencies:   The RN will be competent to monitor and circulate diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, intermediate and complex interventional cardiac procedures, STEMI, diagnostic and interventional arteriograms.
