Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Chief Neurophysiology Technologist position is to supervise all laboratory personnel. Also, supervise technical activities of the laboratory, directs related clerical activities, helps in training activities, evaluates requests for Neurophysiology tests (EEG, Video EEG Monitoring, TCD, EP, NCS/EMG), advises the physician regarding the procedures and test designs necessary to complete them. Determines and programs the test and equipment which will be necessary to complete the diagnostic studies. Evaluates the test results and determines if they are adequate for interpretation.
