The primary purpose of the Senior Respiratory Therapist Registered (SRTR) position is to provide oversight and leadership on in the absence of the Respiratory Therapy Clinical Supervisor. Upon the order of the physician, administers pulmonary therapeutic, diagnostic procedures and sets up, operates, monitors, and manages various types of respiratory equipment to be utilized in the treatment, management, control, and care of patients of all ages with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiorespiratory system. Works primarily in the Intensive Care unit (ICU), collaborates with nurses and physician in the implementation of individualized care plans.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) in relevant sciences. Registered Respiratory Therapist, licensed by the New Jersey Board of Respiratory Care.
