The Occupational Therapist provides patient care including evaluations, goal setting, treatment planning, family training and the application of treatment techniques in accordance with designated practice act and department policy and procedure.   REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelors or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required, Suitable combination of education, training, or experience along with a California license in Occupational Therapy is acceptable. In-patient Physical therapy at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital is focused on facilitating early mobility, with emphasis on safe patient handling and quality of care, reducing hospital-induced deconditioning and rate of re-admission through comprehensive care including patient education, family training, patient specific discharge planning, and establishing appropriate continuum of care. Acute care Therapists serve all areas from Emergency Department through the Intensive Care Units, Med-Surg, and OB units. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive , individualized interdisciplinary plan of care under Physicians’ orders, in an acute care setting,  which includes performing evaluations, integrative treatment planning, setting patient-specific functional goals, performing follow-up assessments, and ongoing patient/ family education; Coordinate patient’s Plan of Care with other Medical and Rehabilitation Staff;...
