JOB SUMMARY The Genetic Counselor provides expert clinical counseling, risk assessment, and education to patients and families with known or suspected genetic conditions. This role supports informed decision?making by interpreting genetic test results, assessing inherited risk, and explaining diagnostic, prognostic, and treatment implications. The Genetic Counselor works collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary clinical teams to integrate genetic insights into patient care across inpatient and outpatient hospital settings while maintaining the highest standards of ethical and patient?centered practice.
