The Pharmacy Technician 1, under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, assists with compounds and dispensing medical prescriptions and may be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. The position is expected to receive and store incoming supplies, verify stock and enter data into the computer to maintain inventory records, and is expected to meet state certifications. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education High school diploma or GED required. Must be licensed with the Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy intern before the onset of duties. Must be enrolled in an ACPE accredited pharmacy school. Experience Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and ability to work in stressful environments is essential.
