Description Our facility is in need of a RN Supervisor on our vent unit at Miller Nursing Home. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a group of patients, supervise assigned nursing personnel, collaborate with other health care professionals, coordinate ancillary staff, demonstrate professional growth and development in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice at the clinical setting, and provide direct or indirect patient care to all developmental ages. Job Summary :   Assist CVTs and Cath Lab RNs in their performance of cardiac cath procedures, permanent pacemaker and defibrillator implantation.   Work under direct supervision of CVT or RN.   Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures.   Stock procedure rooms.   Transport patients to and from cardiac cath labs. Qualifications :   High School diploma or equivalent required.  Current enrollment in an approved CVT program.   Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be highly organized.   Needs to have (or be in process of obtaining) BLS certification.
