The FSW II will assist with orders for patients. Maintain the office supplies and run reports. This position will comply will all cafeteria, food and beverage regulation guidelines outlined in the facility Food Service manual. This position includes duties related to utility, food preparation, assembly tasks, and cafeteria duties. The patients’ demographics range from newborn through children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. There is minimal access to patient health information.

Patient hot meals are prepared under the “cook to order” room service delivery system. The Cook has the responsibility to ensure that all entrees are heated to proper temperatures in a 20 minute time frame and that the sanitation of the equipment and work areas are maintained according to Health Department codes. There is no access to patient health information.
