The group is looking for a physician to bring on board permanently to replace a provider that is retiring. Requirements: Experienced family medicine physician, graduating resident or fellow. Patient and Procedure Mix: All aspects of family medicine: the physical, emotional, and social health from birth through adulthood, including health services ranging from preventive health care to the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. Call is 1:4 and weekends as needed. This is an employed position with a base salary and Relative Value Unit's component. Our Hospital/Group in central MI is looking for a board certified Family Practice physician. Ideal providers will be located in Michigan. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8am to 5pm. There is no call and no weekends with this position. At least 6 months of coverage is needed. The facility/group will also consider permanent candidates. There are 4 physicians in this practice and the average number of patients per day is 25. 80% of the patients are adults and 20% are pediatrics. The locum will not do hospital rounds and will not be responsible for supervising other healthcare providers. Privileging takes about 4 weeks, but emergency privileging is available to providers with a clean history.
