Reporting to the Director, Clinical Services, the Genetics Program Assistant performs a wide range of administrative and office support activities necessary to assist the genetic counseling team in providing hereditary cancer risk assessment to patients and their families. Responsibilities include: maintaining genetic counselor and hereditary cancer clinic schedules, assisting with genetic case preparation and follow-up (preparing intake paperwork, inputting family history information into database, assisting with insurance preauthorization paperwork, tracking test results etc.) and assisting with other projects/job related duties with guidance from the genetic counseling team.
