Medical Director Physician for Stroke Program
Qualifications : Active North Carolina Medical License and CaroMont Regional Medical Center Medical Staff membership in good standing. Specialty specific Board certification, employed by CaroMont Medical Group, and actively caring for patients. Prior formal leadership position(s) strongly preferred.
Required Competencies/Obligations:
Provide verbal and/or written assessments on quality of care provided by the Stroke Program guidelines and provide constructive feedback when warranted.
Assist with Certifications for The Joint Commission as needed and become part of the core team.
Assist and provide feedback for the implementation of tele-stroke.
Work with Stroke Steering Committee to establish guidelines for appropriateness of Stroke Care.
Handle issues with other physicians when orders or practices for Stroke Care may be inappropriate.
