Job Summary: To conduct general activity programs and assist in implementing specific treatment/patient care programs for patients and patient groups following initial evaluation by the Occupational Therapist
Qualifications: Training: Associate’s Degree in Applied Science from a recognized college or university. Must have a NC license or a NC provisional license. The provisional license will be accepted until the state boards are taken and the results are know. No prior work experience required. Knowledge of occupational therapy terminology, procedures and techniques. Considerable skill in performing occupational therapy procedures. Thorough ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians and hospital personnel. Judgment is required in working with patients and performing treatments.
