Job Summary: To perform a wide variety of duties in connection with the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with speech and language problems.
Qualifications: Masters degree from a recognized college or university majoring in Speech Pathology. North Carolina state license required. Considerable knowledge of speech therapy terminology, procedures, and techniques. Thorough skill in performing speech therapy procedures, including bedside swallow evaluations and treatment. Thorough ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians, and hospital personnel. Considerable judgment required in working with patients and performing treatments
