PAY: According to Union Scale – RRT $35.42 - $53.92 – CRT $31.08 - $47.31, EOE, DOE
SHIFT: Per Diem Day/Nights, weekends, holiday
The Respiratory Therapist will work in a variety of settings to evaluate, treat, and manage patients of all ages with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders. The Respiratory Therapist participates in clinical decision-making and patient education, develops and implements respiratory care plans, applies patient-driven protocols, utilized evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, and participates in health promotion, disease prevention, and disease management. The Respiratory Therapist may be required to exercise considerable independent judgment, under the supervision of a physician, in the respiratory care of patients.
· Graduate of accredited school of respiratory therapy with NBRC credentialing
· Must have a Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner Certificate
· Be proficient in and maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
· Must be able to operate computer system with good keyboarding skills.
