Medical Radiologic Technologist, Outpatient C-Arm
Location: Syracuse, NY
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay: $29.80 to $43.93 per hour ($61,984 to $91,374 per year)
Relocation: Assistance available
Build broad imaging skills across general X-ray, DEXA, and OR C-arm in a weekday outpatient radiology role. New graduates welcome.
Must-Haves
- Associate’s degree in Medical Radiography
- Current ARRT certification and registration
- Active state licensure as required
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
What You’ll Do
- Perform general radiography and DEXA exams
- Assist with C-arm imaging in the OR using sterile technique
- Review physician orders and position patients correctly
- Adjust exposure settings for high-quality diagnostic images
- Check images for quality before submission
- Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure
- Use PACS and RIS systems
- Run QA checks and coordinate equipment maintenance
- Keep work areas clean, stocked, and ready
Nice-to-Haves
- 1 to 2 years of radiologic technologist experience
- OR and C-arm experience
- Outpatient radiology experience
