Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Epic experience is required.
• AS completion required.

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.
Required Skills/Experience: - Must be strong at scrubbing in with physicians and have experience doing structural cases, such as TAVRs, MitraClips and Watchman, along with high-risk PCIs. - Must be comfortable serving as the main person on the case and have experience doing so.
Unit Details: - Scrub procedures include IR, cardiac catheterization and structural heart procedures. - Primary cases include cardiac catheterizations, high-risk PCI with Impella, and structural cases such as TAVR, MitraClip and Watchman.
Shift & Scheduling: - Variable day schedule. - Shift times: 7:45pm-4:45pm. - On-call: 1-2 nights a week from 5pm-7am and every 4th-5th weekend, Fri 5pm-Mon 7am; 30-minute response time. - Holiday rotation as needed due to call (1 holiday). - Contract hours are not assured during orientation week or when the unit is closed for holidays.
Floating Requirements: - Float: Cath Lab only.
9 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
