Career Pathway Coach: Nursing Allied Health

Job Summary:  Focuses on healthcare career pathways aligned with provision of direct patient care and the critical needs of CaroMont Health. Assists CaroMont Health employees, as well as potential new employees, in determining healthcare career pathways. Serves as a mentor for apprenticeships, partnerships, and pathways, for employees who have identified a career pathway or expressed a desire to do so. Recruits and enrolls employees into apprenticeships, pathways, and partnerships, implementing a talent pipeline for CaroMont Health. Identifies academic institutions that would enable employees to achieve their professional healthcare goals. Provides wrap-around support for CaroMont Apprentices. Collaborates with CaroMont Health unit leadership and academic partners. Helps coordinate the schedules of students on dedicated education units, as to optimize the clinical experience for the school and Organization. Provides academic advising and career guidance to employees by collecting, organizing, and analyzing information. Participates in Career Pathways programs, activities, and committees designed to promote academic and professional success.
