New York City | On-Site | Early-Stage Healthcare Company
We’re recruiting for a unique opportunity for an experienced RN, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant who wants to move beyond traditional bedside care and have a direct impact on how patients and families navigate the healthcare system.
This individual will serve as the company's first Patient Advocate, working directly with seniors and their families to coordinate care, solve problems, and make sure important healthcare needs don't fall through the cracks.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership position for someone who enjoys the patient relationship, advocacy, and care-coordination side of healthcare.
You'll become a central point of contact for patients and their families, helping them navigate physicians, specialists, hospitals, pharmacies, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers.
Responsibilities include:
Required:
We'd especially like to speak with clinicians coming from:
Geriatric Care | Senior Care | Care Coordination | Patient Navigation | Complex Care Management | Case Management | Transitional Care | Population Health | Home Health | Concierge Medicine | Primary Care | Medicare-Focused Care
Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
This is not a traditional bedside nursing or clinical-treatment position.
The right person is warm, reassuring, highly organized, persistent, and comfortable taking ownership. When a referral hasn't been scheduled, a prescription isn't right, an insurance issue hasn't been resolved, or a doctor's office hasn't responded, you keep working the problem until there's an answer.
You'll also be joining at an early stage. Rather than inheriting an established Patient Advocate program, you'll have an opportunity to help build it—including workflows, processes, communication standards, and best practices.
For someone who wants to combine their clinical background with patient advocacy, technology, problem-solving, and healthcare innovation, this is a rare opportunity to help shape a new model of care from the beginning.
