The Senior Project Manager is a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health’s (BILH) internal consulting team, which provides advisory and project management support to high-priority initiatives across both clinical and business domains. Team members may work on system integration initiatives or operational transformation projects. Potential project examples include: clinical program development, real estate optimization, workforce retention strategy, health equity project implementation, and surgical scheduling process improvement.Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
1. Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of high-priority initiatives through data collection, analysis, project management, and reporting. Serve as the day-to-day project point of contact for local leaders, escalating issues to internal team leadership as needed.
2. Manage projects with a high degree of independence, including complex projects spanning multiple workstreams, disciplines, and entities. Provide project management support through the use of project management tools, such as SmartSheet. Develop project workplans, sequencing efforts across multi-disciplinary teams and identifying interdependencies. Manage the project to ensure it is delivered on time and on budget. Keep the project team and leadership apprised of progress, escalating any risks or concerns.
3. May oversee the work of team members, including project plan development and analytic efforts. Support local training efforts in project management and process improvement methodologies.
4. Design and perform analyses to support decision-making and monitor performance. Partner with Finance and other key stakeholders to develop financial models to evaluate the impact of proposed initiatives. Ensure projects follow a data-driven approach to ensure informed decision-making and solid situational awareness.
5. May support regulatory reporting efforts through the collection and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative information from across the system.
6. Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across BILH, including Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, Strategy, Legal, and Marketing & Communications, as well as operational and clinical leaders across the system’s hospital and other entities.
7. Develop tools to track and report on performance against goals, and identify the primary drivers of performance. Independently build and maintain project dashboards.
8. Facilitate project-related meetings and discussions, helping to create an atmosphere of discovery and bringing discussion to resolution. Support the work of project-related committees, workgroups, and teams to drive decision-making and support effective communication.
9. Present findings in written, visual, and oral presentations to a variety of audiences throughout the system. Develop visually compelling, data driven presentations to effectively facilitate discussion.
10. Effectively prioritize projects to complete work within established guidelines and timeframe.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: 7-10 years of related work experience ideally in consulting, project management, performance/process improvement, or clinical operations.

Pay Range:
$95,000.00 USD - $130,000.00 USDThe pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
Anna Jaques Hospital is a 123 bed community hospital serving 17 cities and towns in the Merrimack Valley .
