Radiologic Technologist

Job Description

WSi Healthcare Personnel seeks a Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services for partner hospitals and clinics. In this role, you will perform radiologic procedures, position patients, and operate imaging equipment while adhering to radiation safety and infection-control standards. You'll collaborate with radiologists and care teams, document exams accurately in PACS/EMR systems, and adapt to varied clinical settings. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures following physician orders and safety protocols
  • Prepare and position patients to obtain accurate, high-quality images
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with regulations
  • Verify patient identification, review histories, and explain procedures to ensure comfort and safety
  • Follow radiation safety standards, including proper shielding and exposure settings
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and providers to support accurate diagnoses
  • Document procedures, maintain patient records, and manage imaging files in systems
  • Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
  • Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and organizational policies at client facilities
  • Support staffing assignments by adapting to various clinical environments as needed
