Neurologic Physical Therapist

Intermountain Health seeks a Neurologic Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients with stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's, MS, and other neurologic conditions. Responsibilities

• Evaluate neurologic patients using standardized assessments to determine functional status and impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based plans of care for neurologic conditions.
• Provide gait, balance, strength, and functional mobility training to improve safety and independence.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, precautions, and self-management strategies.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, OT, speech, and other team members on coordinated care plans.
• Recommend and train patients on appropriate assistive devices and durable medical equipment.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical pathways, and best-practice initiatives for neurologic rehab.
• Contribute to discharge planning and referrals for ongoing therapy or community resources.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education in neurologic physical therapy.
