Radiologic Technologist Lead

UCHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist Lead to oversee daily imaging operations within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you'll perform and coordinate diagnostic imaging exams, guide technologists, and promote best practices in safety, image quality, and patient experience. The Lead collaborates with physicians, nurses, and leadership to optimize workflows, support training, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment reflecting UCHealth's innovative and inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily imaging operations and workflow for the radiology department
• Perform and oversee diagnostic radiologic exams following ALARA and safety standards
• Precept, mentor, and evaluate technologists and new staff
• Ensure compliance with UCHealth policies, joint commission, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate schedules, room assignments, and equipment utilization
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment issues and collaborate with biomedical/IT teams
• Verify patient identification, history, and consent for imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in the EMR/RIS/PACSCollaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize imaging protocols
• Support quality improvement, safety initiatives, and staff education
