Radiologic Technologist I Nights

Job Description

UCHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist I for night shifts to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging in a collaborative, patient-first environment. In this role, you will perform routine and emergency radiographic exams, ensuring accurate patient positioning, image quality, and adherence to radiation safety standards. You will work closely with nurses, physicians, and other team members to support timely care, document in the EMR, and maintain equipment readiness. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures according to physician orders and UCHealth protocols
  • Position patients safely and accurately, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain imaging and related equipment
  • Verify patient identification, review orders, and document procedures in the EMRFollow radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards at all times
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other team members to support patient care plans
  • Assess images for quality and coordinate additional views as needed
  • Assist in training and supporting new staff or students on night shifts
  • Prioritize and respond to urgent and emergency imaging requests
  • Maintain accurate records, supplies, and a clean, safe work environment
