Job Description
Parkridge Health Network, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an Ultrasound Tech PRN to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging for diverse patient populations. In this PRN role, you'll complete ultrasound exams per physician orders, ensure accurate imaging, and document results in the EMR. You'll collaborate closely with radiologists and the care team, uphold safety and infection control standards, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams following physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring image quality and proper documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to review images and support accurate diagnoses
- Maintain patient records and exam documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy policies
- Participate in on-call/PRN coverage as needed to support department staffing needs
