Interventional Radiologic Technologist

St. Vincent's Medical Center seeks an Interventional Technologist to support image-guided procedures within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. Working alongside physicians and nurses, you will prepare patients, operate fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment, scrub and circulate during interventional and vascular procedures, and monitor patient status throughout. Responsibilities include maintaining sterile technique, documenting care, ensuring radiation safety, and assisting with emergency interventions. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients and procedure rooms for interventional and vascular procedures
  • Operate fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment safely and accurately
  • Scrub, assist, and circulate during interventional procedures
  • Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control standards
  • Monitor and document patient condition before, during, and after procedures
  • Apply radiation safety principles for patients, self, and staff
  • Manage contrast administration per protocol and monitor for reactions
  • Maintain and troubleshoot interventional equipment and supplies
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate care
  • Respond to emergent situations and participate in on-call rotation as required
