Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the orthopedic surgery program, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care
- Serve as clinical resource for surgeons, nurses, and care teams across the ortho surgery continuum
- Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based protocols and care pathways
- Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative care and recovery expectations
- Track clinical outcomes, analyze data, and support quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflows and patient throughput
- Facilitate pre-op and post-op clinics, rounding, and care transitions
- Ensure regulatory, safety, and documentation standards are met within the program
- Support staff orientation, competency development, and ongoing education
- Partner with leadership to advance program growth, innovation, and community outreach
