Job Description
Join Providence Health & Services as an Associate Radiology Technologist and support high-quality diagnostic imaging for diverse patient populations. Responsibilities
- Perform basic diagnostic radiographic exams under supervision, following established protocols.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure comfort, safety, and high-quality imaging results.
- Operate radiographic equipment, PACS, and related systems, verifying image quality and accuracy.
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and hospital policies to protect patients and staff.
- Document procedures accurately in EMR and imaging systems, maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to coordinate timely patient care.
- Monitor patients during and after imaging, recognizing and reporting any changes in condition.
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment cleanliness, readiness, and basic quality control checks.
- Support a compassionate, culturally sensitive environment aligned with Providence's mission.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to develop skills and advance within the health system.
