Responsibilities
- Perform image-guided interventional radiology procedures under physician direction
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot interventional radiology and fluoroscopy equipment
- Apply radiation safety standards for patients, self, and staff
- Maintain sterile fields and follow infection-control protocols
- Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures
- Administer or assist with contrast media and medications per policy
- Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health team members
- Support mission-driven, compassionate care for diverse patient populations
