CT Technologist I

SSM Health seeks a CT Technologist I (PRN) to perform high-quality CT imaging for diverse patient populations. In this PRN role, you will prepare and position patients, operate CT scanners, follow radiation safety standards, and assist physicians with imaging procedures. You will verify orders, maintain accurate documentation in the EMR, and collaborate with nurses and providers to ensure safe, compassionate care. Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and imaging protocols
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment while following radiation safety standards
• Verify orders, patient identity, and clinical information before imaging
• Collaborate with nurses and providers during exams and urgent situations
• Document procedures and findings accurately in the EMRMaintain exam room, equipment cleanliness, and infection control practices
• Assist with contrast-related workflows per protocol and licensure
• Recognize and respond appropriately to patient changes or emergencies
