Job Description
Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in a tertiary care, teaching environment. This role conducts radiographic exams per physician orders, positions patients safely, and operates imaging equipment with precision. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic exams according to physician orders and protocols
- Position patients safely and accurately while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot radiologic equipment and imaging software
- Verify patient identity, review orders, and maintain accurate imaging and patient records
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection prevention policies
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on procedures and ensure informed consent is obtained per policy
- Support on-call, weekend, or holiday coverage as needed in a tertiary care environment
