Job Description

Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in a tertiary care, teaching environment. This role conducts radiographic exams per physician orders, positions patients safely, and operates imaging equipment with precision. The technologist upholds radiation safety, infection prevention, and accurate documentation, while collaborating closely with radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic exams according to physician orders and protocols
  • Position patients safely and accurately while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot radiologic equipment and imaging software
  • Verify patient identity, review orders, and maintain accurate imaging and patient records
  • Follow radiation safety standards and infection prevention policies
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
  • Educate patients and families on procedures and ensure informed consent is obtained per policy
  • Support on-call, weekend, or holiday coverage as needed in a tertiary care environment
