Sr. Registered Dietitian

Job Description

Adventist Health seeks a Sr. Registered Dietitian to deliver advanced, whole-person nutrition care in a faith-based, mission-driven environment. In this full-time, days, hybrid role, you will complete comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide counseling for patients managing chronic and acute conditions. You'll collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff, document in the EHR, and support quality and regulatory standards. As a senior clinician, you'll mentor others, contribute to education and outreach, and help shape nutrition services that reflect Christian values of compassion, service, and inclusivity. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans for inpatient and outpatient populations.
  • Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling for chronic disease management and wellness.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to integrate nutrition into treatment plans.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EHR according to regulatory standards.
  • Lead or support quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition and patient outcomes.
  • Mentor and precept dietetic interns or junior dietitians.
  • Participate in patient, family, and community education aligned with faith-based, whole-person care.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital, state, and federal nutrition regulations and standards.
