Job Description

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist to support electrophysiology procedures in a leading academic medical center. The technologist will perform and assist with complex cardiovascular imaging in the EP lab, operate fluoroscopic and related imaging equipment, and ensure optimal image quality and radiation safety. Responsibilities include patient preparation and monitoring, sterile technique, accurate documentation, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and allied staff. Responsibilities

  • Perform cardiovascular imaging for electrophysiology procedures using fluoroscopic and related equipment
  • Prepare, position, and monitor patients before, during, and after EP procedures
  • Maintain strict radiation safety and infection control standards
  • Assist physicians and EP team during complex diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Ensure accurate imaging documentation and data entry in the electronic health record
  • Troubleshoot and maintain imaging equipment, reporting issues promptly
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied staff to optimize workflow and patient outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing training, QA activities, and protocol improvements in the EP lab
