OhioHealth is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging for diverse patient populations across our leading healthcare network. In this role, you will prepare and position patients, operate advanced CT equipment, follow radiation safety standards, and collaborate closely with radiologists and care teams. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and imaging protocols
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort during exams
- Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring optimal image quality
- Apply radiation safety principles and follow regulatory and Ohio
- Health standards
- Administer or assist with contrast media per protocol and monitor for reactions
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and providers to coordinate patient care
- Accurately document procedures and findings in the electronic medical record
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment cleanliness and readiness
- Support training and mentoring of new staff or students as needed
- Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives
