Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Description

OhioHealth is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist to support advanced stroke and neurovascular care within our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this on site role, you will perform complex, image guided neuro interventional procedures, operate sophisticated fluoroscopic and DSA equipment, and ensure the highest standards of radiation safety and patient monitoring. Responsibilities

  • Perform neuro interventional radiology procedures, including stroke and vascular interventions, under physician direction
  • Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment in the neuro interventional suite
  • Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to radiation safety standards
  • Assist physicians during complex image guided procedures, maintaining a sterile field
  • Monitor patients' status before, during, and after procedures; document accurately in the EMRAdminister contrast media as authorized and monitor for adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient care and workflow
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and procedure room readiness according to regulatory standards
