OhioHealth is seeking a CT Technologist for our acute care team. In this role, you will perform high-quality CT imaging for diverse patient populations, support physicians with accurate imaging data, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Ensure patient identification, safety screening, and informed procedure explanation
- Position patients correctly and operate CT scanners to obtain diagnostic-quality images
- Administer or assist with IV contrast following safety and allergy protocols
- Apply radiation safety principles and infection control standards at all times
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to support timely patient care
- Document procedures accurately in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
- Monitor patients during and after scans, responding appropriately to acute changes
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment and report service needs
- Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives
