Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technician to perform high-quality EEG and related studies for patients across our integrated Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this on-site role, you'll prepare patients, operate neurodiagnostic equipment, recognize and document clinical events, and support accurate neurological diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized neurodiagnostic procedures (EEG, evoked potentials, NCS).
- Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures and ensuring safety and comfort.
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot neurodiagnostic equipment and related software.
- Recognize and document clinically relevant events and artifacts during testing.
- Maintain accurate records and enter results into the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with neurologists, nurses, and other care team members.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
- Participate in ongoing education, competency validation, and process improvement initiatives.
